NUFYP students are encouraged to participate actively in campus life. Participation in extracurricular activities aids students in forming new friendships and these clubs offer environments in which students further develop their skills in leadership, teamwork, creative thinking, and healthy lifestyles. After university, participation in hobbies and volunteering can play a significant part of one’s success in applying for jobs or further academic studies, and can improve their general well-being.
With over 90 student clubs on campus, it’s easy to become involved and develop life-long friendships and skills. There are clubs for every interest including:
There are even NUFYP-only clubs, such as our Short Story Club and Speaking Club.
A full list of clubs and contact details can be found in the NU Student Handbook or the Student Portal.
